The
Grand Traverse Rural Fire Department provides services to the townships
of Fife Lake, Grant, Green Lake, Long Lake, Mayfield, Paradise,
Union, Whitewater. The Rural Department also provides service to the Village
of Kingsley and to Springfield Township in Kalkaska County. The division
has approximately 150 volunteer fire service personnel working out of
five stations.

Michael Stinson,
Acting Chief
Chief
Mike Stinson has been with the fire
service for 34 years and has been with GTRFD since its inception
in 1989. Chief Stinson oversee all Rural Division operations.

William Sedlacek,
Administrative Coordinator
William
Sedlacek has been in the fire service for 44 years and has been
with GTRFD since the inception in 1989. Bill served as the Chief
of the Rural Division since 2000 and has retired from serving as
Chief in 2012. Bill now oversees all Administrative operations of
the Rural Division.

Rebecca Pruyne,
Health and Safety Officer
HSO Rebecca
Pruyne has been in the fire service as a member of GTRFD for 16
years. Rebecca has been serving as the HSO since 2010.
Rebecca oversees all the Health and Safety operations of the
Rural Division.
